I was looking for a high end sport car and found Alpine Motors. Made an appointment with Mike. He had a low mileage Maserati Turismo. He showed me the car and went over everything. We discussed the price and he gave me a very fair deal. He prepped the car and detailed it like new. He explained everything, very professional. I would highly recommend his dealership for any high end car. He did all the paper work and printed complete history of the car. Couldn’t ask for better service.

I highly recommend Alpine Motors. Mike is great to work with. He’s highly communicative and extremely fair. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely refer Alpine to others. BTW…the car I purchased was a one owner vehicle with low mileage and was in phenomenal shape for being 24 years old. Mike only sells the best of the best and he offers the same with his customer service.

Excellent experience! The 2010 Panamera I was interested in was advertised as being in excellent condition inside, outside, and mechanically. With that being said, I was a skeptic and couldn't wrap my head around having a car shipped that I'd never seen. I flew to New York, drove the Panamera, had a in-depth prebuy inspection done and I can confirm what all of the other 5-star reviews had stated with my own experience. Mike was a joy to deal with and sells high-quality, clean (I'm VERY picky) luxury automobiles. In the future- I will buy sight-unseen with confidence from Mike and Alpine.

Two Bentleys -two fantastic experiences.
I have bought 2 Bentleys now from Michael Lessne at Alpine motors. Each one was in perfect condition and the buying and owning experience was beyond smooth. As a young workingman my dream car has always been a Maserati Ghibli, due to working out of town, I truly couldn’t do all the research on my own, but with my parents help we looked nationally for the correct look and model of my dream car. My dad found the exact one in New York, but we live in Oregon. It was a 2016 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 with “CRAZY” low mileage. The Owner Mike, and my dad were in constant communication. My dad said Mike would always available and willing to talk any time of day or night. We felt there is just no way the car would be as great as Mike said, but he sent many pictures and told my dad all the imperfections, 2 of them. Mike had replaced the worn front badge and touched up the bumper as mentioned. The car was near perfect and delivered almost 3000 miles, East coast to West, NY to Oregon, earlier than estimated, and during a major winter storm. It arrived about 5:30 in a cold wintery morning in a large enclosed trailer. Several neighbors walking/running saw the delivery and asked about the car and were shocked it came from NY during the winter storm, we were all very impressed that a NY Auto dealer would give such care to deliver a car to our front door. I was thrilled I got ready for work, went topped off the gas tank and took off to work in my new car. I love it! I drive my dream car everyday. Thanks Mike and the whole Alpine company. Mike was very personable and accommodating. The car was for my 81 year old father who is very picky. Mike and my dad made the deal in less than 30 minutes within about an hour we were driving out with it. The couple of small issues that arose (service related) after the sale were taken care of personally by Mike with no haggling required. I would recommend Mike and Alpine Motors to anyone who is interested in a great car from a very professional dealer!

Alpine Motors offered a great buying experience. I recently purchased a 2006 H3 Hummer and had it shipped to Indiana, going only by the posted photos and Mike Alpine's feedback. I think I got a great deal and it was about as hassle-free as purchasing a vehicle can be. Mike even messaged me a few days after delivery to see if I had any issues. These folks are honest and hard working, with a healthy sense of humor and 100% positive feedback. It's mighty hard to stay at 100%, but these folks have earned it. I'll be getting my next car from Mike and his team in years to come!

Purchased a used Volvo from Alpine. My daughter and I flew up from Tennessee to drive it home. Mike was on-the-ball and had everything ready for us. The car was great, as advertised. We drove it several hundred miles back home that afternoon and the next day. It performed well. I am very happy with the purchase and experience. Follow up.. Went to register the car back home. My state did not understand the paper work from New York, thought it was not correct and wanted to send me away. I called Mike from the clerk's desk and he got them squared away in a few minutes. Him taking the time to assist them saved me an immense amount of pain.

We are from Florida and the car was in New York so I bought it without first even looking at it in person. I can’t say enough about Alpine Motors. Their selection is seriously unheard of. I live in Maine and without a second thought or guess, I drove almost 6 hours to meet Mike and pick up my new SUV I’d never seen in person. I trusted Mike. Alpine motors set a standard for car sales that in 39 years, I’ve NEVER experienced. Mike is a straight shooter, No BS, and a Man of his word. Even after purchase and surprising my wife with the new vehicle , she found a few minor things she pointed out. Mike followed up asking about the ride home and how I liked the SUV. I expressed the few minor things my wife mentioned and Mike said “Done. I’m on it”. After purchase, Alpine continued to go above and beyond and made everything 100%. In all honesty, I can’t imagine nor would I ever entertain purchasing a vehicle anywhere else. We’re customers for Life.

Great buying experience! I drove all the way from western Pennsylvania. It’s very hard to find TDIs now a days that are one owner and clean. I ended up with a very clean, Audi 3.0 Tdi q5. Mike Alpine, really knows what he’s doing, and the prices of his vehicles are extremely reasonable. For someone, like myself, who was looking for another diesel, this guy really helped me out! I wouldn’t hesitate, to buy another vehicle from him.

Spent the last 6 months searching for the “perfect” used car as I waited for my current lease to expire. At the same time, my father was looking for a retirement present for himself in the form of a convertible. My short list was an Audi and a stretch if I could get into a S model within my budget. My father wanted a single owner, under 30k miles for his. Went out to Wantagh to Alpine Motors to look at a Bentley Continental GTC with my father. Started with a call to Mike to set up an appointment. Once we got there, I saw my dream car right next to the Bentley...an S7. Long story short...Mike at Alpine Motors was a top notch dealer throughout the entire process and an all-around great guy to do business with. Honest, knowledgable, and no nonsense; all qualities everyone should want from a business owner. My father bought the Bentley and I bought the Audi S7. Two great cars with two very happy customers. After searching high and low for a car , I remembered Alpine Motors . I checked their website spoke to mike a couple of times and agreed on a car . Because I was in a different location (about 40 miles) Mike arranged things so I could come out see the car and leave the same day . This was not his normal procedure and he did not disappoint. The car was immaculate , clean and ran perfect . After the sale I had a few questions I emailed Mike and received prompt courteous answers. I strongly believe that Mike (the owner) will work hard to ensure you get an awesome deal on whatever vehicle you're interested in and sell you something reliable. My suggestion is that if you're a first time buyer like myself, I recommend having someone who knows the ins and the outs with you throughout the entire process. This way you won't feel like you're at risk of being taken advantage of and you won't waste his time either. Mike actually hung up the phone on me during mid-sentence because he was busy running auctions, but I respect it! lol I still feel good about this place even after Mike made me feel like a baby ant and BEFORE I read all the other great reviews. l just felt like I needed to share this for any other potential first timers thinking about going in to this alone. Bring someone with you or do your own homework!

Great place to buy a car! Mike was great to work with. I was a bit nervous about purchasing a car almost 3000 miles away but reading the reviews gave me confidence. I called Mike a few times to discuss the car. He was very professional and willing to take the time to answer the many questions I had. He hired a fantastic shipping company and worked with me through all the hoops Washington State makes you jump through when registering a car from out of state. Also, I am very particular. Wasn't sure if my particular was the same as Mike's. It was. The car that arrived was better than the pictures and the pictures were pretty great. I had been looking for a used convertible BMW and found one for sale at Alpine motors. The process was very efficient. I made an appointment for a test drive. When I arrived I took the car for a spin, including a highway run. I loved the car and we quickly came to an agreement and I picked it up two days later. The prep they did to the car was amazing, the car is a '98 and the original paint looks brand new, and the motor is pristine. The lot contains an impressive collection of high-end used cars. Test drives are appointment only, however their website is excellent for browsing - there were plenty of photos of the car from every angle, as well as detailed specifications. When I am next in the market for a used car I would definitely check here first.

Went in here a while ago with my grandmother to look at a low mileage pre-owned BMW. Mike the owner was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable about every vehicle on the lot and each vehicle in his inventory is super clean and warrantied, regardless of age. The cars are definitely a bit pricey but there are no hidden fees, no games and you are getting a very clean car in excellent mechanical shape. I recommend buying a car here, it is not your typical "used car corner lot." No hidden fees either, super transparent.

Mike has such an extensive range of classic European cars it's hard to chose just the one! He sold me a 9 year old BMW X3 which is in very good condition. People have remarked that it looks brand new. It needed some work doing to the turbo which he immediately organized at a specialist shop. His customer service is excellent. He and his team are friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable about all his cars. His passion for these iconic cars is clear the minute you walk round his sales room. I'd recommend Alpine Motors to anyone looking for something a bit different to the standard US car brands.

I have to say we were a bit Skeptical about getting a car at a small car dealer I was finally getting a almost new car and I get to pick it out I had my eye on a Range Rover when we drove up I seen it way in the back we come to find out some one else already was coming to buy it But the owner Mike said you never know call me later to see if it was sold and that’s what I did he said come back tomorrow he still had it it was meant to be. Purchasing an expensive vehicle sight unseen from another state can be a little nerve wracking, not knowing if their idea of "immaculate condition" is congruent with yours. Mike told me about two very minor flaws and sent pictures of them to help me make an informed decision. The vehicle was everything he portrayed it to be, and then some. Purchased a 2000 corvette with only 41K miles, which I picked up Aug 1, 2020. The purchase was made at Alpine Motors in Wantagh, NY. I dealt with Mike, who is the owner of this fine business. Mike was a pleasure deal with and the car was as advertised, a gem. He also set me up with financing and suggested I get Classic Car insurance, which I did. Mike got me new plates, registration, and an inspection sticker. He is well versed in higher end autos and will arrange for shipping if needed. On the road again !
I'm special as a sports official and coach. lugging equipment is tough. I waited until i found the right car and it was at Alpine motors. I inquired and was not pressured which would have been a turn off. I was made to feel desired and comfortable. It was easy for me to spend my money. The car was clean that my wife thought it was a new car. My young daughter has excellent grades and wants to drive. When it s time for her car Alpine will be my first stop.

Best car buying experience. I never thought buying a used car is this easy. Mike made the buying experience a breeze. From the time I contacted about the car I liked to me driving the car out of the lot, he made sure that I was kept up to date. Mike was very honest about the issues with the car, the soft top needed replacements he gave me options on what he can do. We agreed on getting it fixed in spring, since his soft top replacement guy was not available and I also felt it was better to change the top after winter. I am really impressed by his professionalism and passion towards providing best service to the customers. Overall, highly recommend Mike and his dealership for anyone looking for a quality used car.

Michael really made an all-out effort for us. He was honest about the car I called about. He then looked into his inventory and found something much more reliable in the same price range. I Purchased a vehicle from Alpine Motors recently. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They don't make you feel pressured as other dealerships do. They make you feel very comfortable. They talk you through everything and answer your questions without seeming annoyed or rushing you to make a decision. They are very accommodating and have a mechanic on site who can tell you about the upkeep of the vehicle. After shopping around at over 9 dealerships I knew I wanted to buy a car from them & that is exactly what I did!!! My fiance came with me just to look at the car I wanted to buy since he knows more about cars than I do & does mechanic work himself. The prices were so good here that he drove off with a car too. Last Saturday I visited Alpine Motors, Freeport NY for my first car, I had in my mind it had to be an Aston Martin, it is the car I always wanted so do my wife. I wanted it financed because we want this car to be mine for a while. That was a hard mission because I have never had a car leased/financed in my name, no credit history. Then Alpine Motors came trough, made the miracle and after a lot of work they got me approved. The extra mile is too little to explain the work they put in mission! Such a nice manager, explained everything for a first-timer, very patient with our ton of questions and compromised to make things work. I am sure in any other dealership this deal was not gonna be made. They had a decent amount of options as cars, different years, colors, models. They also helped with the insurance, which was essential so we could go for a total price that we can afford. The team, in general, was awesome! I love my car and I buy and change cars just with these guys and recommend them to everybody, they will really take care of you!

Returning customer! Four years ago, I bought my first summer-time fun car (a convertible) from Mike at Alpine. I had not bought a used car since 1973 and I was concerned about finding a dealer who would stand behind what he sold. I looked around at several places, but from his online reviews, as well as from a multiple-purchase customer I knew, I saw consistently good feedback. Mike’s cars are generally top of the line, low mileage and in great condition. That first transaction was smooth and Mike stood behind the vehicle, handling a couple of initial gremlins. I tripped across my recent acquisition by accident, as I often check back in at his web site to see what he has on hand. I came across another convertible, clearly an upgrade from what I had and reached out to Mike. I had been searching for a replacement of my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis having sustained heavy damage from a rear end collision. I searched for months and finally found this 06 with less than 8000 miles on it at Alpine Motors. I talked to Mike, wired the money and had it shipped to Ohio. The car was all that I had expected but the sun visor vanity mirrors were broke. Mike was very personable during the sales process and he accommodated my short timeline as I was looking to make a purchase before moving upstate and had to do it quickly. I bought a 2008 RX 350 from Alpine. It's been about 9 months and the car still works great. Mike is easily reachable by phone to discuss any problems that come up after the purchase (I had a dead battery which Mike offered to reimburse me for). Greetings from the Road! I purchased my 1999 Mercedes Benz 230 SLK in October and have been driving ever since which is why my post is so late. I have never been more happy. I saw the car on the Cargurus website on a Saturday and called early on Sunday morning. I got a return phone call almost immediately. My husband and I drove to the dealership and saw the car on the lot. It was immaculate. It far exceeded my expectations I was taken on a test drive with the owner. When we returned, my husband and I were permitted to take the car for another test drive together. We were provided a copy of the CarFax with the cars ownership history. Great experience. I contacted Alpine Motors after finding a listing for a 2011 BMW. I was looking for a specific color combination with specific options. It was for my daughter. She was involved in an accident (not her fault) 3 weeks before and her BMW was totaled. My quest was to replace her totaled car with an identical one. She loved her car. after searching for 2+ years for a older bentley arnage, i found one at Alpine Motors . i drove to wampagh,ny, to inspect it and met mike lessne. if you want to deal with a honest man of his word seller of premium cars, go see mike. he not only had my car delivered - cover service, of course - to my home in massachusetts, he totally serviced the car, repaired a couple of minor but potential issues with the window lifts and replace two somewhat worn tires. after sale service in terms of recommendation for replacement keys, waxes, leather creams has continued. and the car in my general service has performed as he promised. so if you are seeking a premium car from an exotic sports car ( ferrarri, maserati) to a more ordinary mercedes , mike lessne is your man.

My name is Wayne I purchased a 2009 650i from Mike, and right before I called him I called another dealer W a 650i same yr same color, just cost a little less, I called Mike and ask why is your car worth more than his, Mike then said I did my homework and that car has been in two wrecks and doesn't have a clean title, ( by this time I was sold cause this guy knows what he is selling.) Mike said my car has a clean title and he proved it, no wrecks car fax clean, then he began to tell Me all about the bells and whistles which like I said I was already sold. I came in to look at a Bmw convertible and met with Mike (the owner) who is extremely polite and knowledgable and took the time necessary to show us the car and answer any questions we had. After our 2nd visit we had a small incident with a salesman, but Mike called us and apologized which is not only a nice thing to do, but it shows that he cares about his customers (as well as potential customers) and his business. He even offers a lifetime powertrain warranty on all the cars, which I believe really shows that Alpine Motors stands behind the cars that they sell and strive to please their customers! I purchased a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 from Alpine Motors and couldn't have made a better choice of dealer and automobile. It was in top condition as are the rest of vehicles on the lot. The financing and paperwork was a breeze. Despite the fact that I showed up earlier than the usual time he customarily has cars ready for pickup, Mike went the extra mile by having the car serviced and detailed as quickly as possible so I didn't have to wait a long time to be on my way. We found exactly the car we wanted for a third - fun around town vehicle - a 2012 Mini Cooper convertible. In and out it looks almost like it was driven from the new car showroom. We shopped around and found a few others that were less expensive but none were as clean and with only 15K miles it was a "no brainer". The transaction was seamless. It's easy to see why they came so highly recommended.

Everything about this place was amazing! I stepped off the LIRR and someone was there to pick me up in the car that I was coming to test drive. Mike was no nonsense and extremely sincere. 2010 Audi with 39,000 miles looks BRAND NEW. Brought it to Audi dealer for service immediately after purchase and all checked out top-notch, except minor front wheel alignment. No big deal; it is after all a used car. When buying from Alpine you are not only buying a car (which you can get many places); at Alpine you are buying Mike's integrity and the assurance of the quality of his cars. Highly recommended.

Mike was very honest and professional. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns and there were many! We had never purchased a vehicle online before. He made sure every detail on the car was perfect. We purchased the vehicle from NY while we live in southern Illinois. We had a NY friend go and do a test drive (and they were very impressed by Mike and his dealership). He made me feel very comfortable that he ships vehicles all over the country. Mike was very responsive to all my emails, all hours of the day and night and throughout the weekend. After the final touches, the car was delivered right to our door "on Memorial Day" for less than it would have cost us to fly the there and drive it home. I saw this beautiful 2006 Red Pontiac GTP hard-top convertible. Being a former resident of L.I. now living in N.J., I was able to make the trek to Wantagh to check it out. I went for a test drive and I fell in love with it. The car was in great condition; just a touch over 50,000 miles. The vehicle was inspected thoroughly for repairs and cosmetic imperfections and were taken attended to. Mike ONLY deals with well-cared for cars. It was worth the trip. Mike was very personable during the sales process and he accommodated my short timeline as I was looking to make a purchase before moving upstate and had to do it quickly. I bought a 2008 RX 350 from Alpine. It's been about 9 months and the car still works great. Mike is easily reachable by phone to discuss any problems that come up after the purchase (I had a dead battery which Mike offered to reimburse me for). If youre tired of the run around, fine print or unclear pricing that a lot of used car dealers use to exhaust you in to making a poor decision(let me tell you I WAS!), this dealership is a breath of fresh air. I was able to make a deal for a car without ever stepping foot on the property. Of course I checked it out before signing on the dotted line but it was as advertised in amazing shape. I just had a guy chase me on the highway just to get a look at my car, but thats all me because I keep the wax shine heavy! If the car you want is available at his dealership I urge you to give him a chance. He even fixed a small issue for me within my warranty with no issues. I recently purchased a 1991 Red Convertible Corvette with 25,340 miles from Alpine Motors. The car looks and drives like a new car. Mike was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. After leaving a deposit Mike got the new license plates from the DMV, had the car inspected, put 4 new tires and brakes on the car and had the car detailed. He even arranged to have the car delivered because I did not want to drive it from Long Island to Brooklyn. All his cars on his lot are in immaculate condition. Mike even called the day after I received the car to make sure everything was ok. I would definitely recommend Alpine to friends or family.

I was shopping around for mini coopers for a couple months, and couldn't seem to find the right one with the right price and when I would, it would be off the lot in a matter of minutes. I just purchased a 2009 mini cooper from Mike this past weekend. The car has very low miles on it, and is still under Mini warranty. My first visit to Alpine was quick and brief just to look at the car, and run my credit. Mike called me back promptly and was able to work everything out within my budget and means. I was back the same day to put my down payment in and sign papers. Mike told me i could pick up the car later in the week as it needed to be detail, inspected etc... I explained to Mike I was in a time crunch and asked if I could pick up the car sooner because I would be out of town for work. Needless to say Mike got the car inspected and ready for pick up in under 24 hours of signing all the papers. I walked in at 10 am on Saturday, and by noon on Sunday had my car! I would purchase another car from Mike, and was happy with the ease of the transaction. He was prompt, personable, and all the cars on his lot seemed well kept.

Ok its been a long time coming but better late than never. I purchased a 2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 in May 2013. The buying process was absolutely painless and without a drop of sales pressure. That's an A+ right off the bat. The tough thing was choosing from all the great low mileage cars available. So now my review. The condition of this beauty with only 48k miles on it was as if it were brand new inside and out (as were most all the cars I looked at that day). I have had absolutely no problems with the car and feel like I am getting into a brand new car each time I unlock the door, still after almost a year of ownership. Alpine has a customer for life! I wouldn't even hesitate to purchase from Alpine again when the time comes it will definitely be the first one I visit... and most likely the only one. Alpine is a place you must check out if you are in the market for a great vehicle. I know you wont be disappointed/ My rating would be 6 stars but Google only lets do 5 so many many thanks. Joe

I've been search for a E-350 Mercedes for about 5 or 6 months. I went into Alpine about 4 times just to browse and NEVER got pressured to test drive or have a car forced on me. When I was ready to buy a car I went back to Alpine where Mike (the owner) took the time to put me into the car I wanted as well as get me the best finance rate that would fit my budget. Overall he was excellent in communication and made the whole transaction pleasant and painless. We agreed on a price and he did the rest. I now have my dream car in my driveway and i'm having a blast with my new car. I recently purchased a 2004 Chevy Blazer from Alpine Motors and I am writing to let everyone know what a great experience it was. I saw the truck on-line and spoke to Mike the following morning and purchased the vehicle over the phone. I live in Buffalo and was unable to get to Long Island for over 10 days. I put the deposit down to hold the truck and Mike helped me secure the balance of the financing. I admit, I was a little scared to purchase a vehicle on-line and Mike (the owner) was great. He followed through with every request and question I had and even helped me with my travel plans down to Long Island. They even picked me up at the airport. Everything went as scheduled, all the paperwork was ready, and the truck is awesome !!! Exactly as it was described to me and in excellent condition. Alpine Motors also does a 100 point inspection for all their vehicles which made me feel extra confident in the dealership and the safety of the truck. I drove back to Buffalo that afternoon and had a great drive back home. I love the mission of Alpine Motors (older vehicles with low miles) and their honesty and integrity compliments their promise and mission to provide a quality,safe used vehicle at a great price. I have no doubt I will be working with Alpine Motors down the road for future vehicles and would recommend them to everyone. It is nice to know there are still some honest car dealerships in New York.

I was back the same day to put my down payment in and sign papers. Mike told me i could pick up the car later in the week as it needed to be detail, inspected etc... I explained to Mike I was in a time crunch and asked if I could pick up the car sooner because I would be out of town for work. Needless to say Mike got the car inspected and ready for pick up in under 24 hours of signing all the papers. I walked in at 10 am on Saturday, and by noon on Sunday had my car! I would purchase another car from Mike, and was happy with the ease of the transaction. He was prompt, personable, and all the cars on his lot seemed well kept.

I recently purchased a beautiful preowned Mercedes CLK convertible from Mike at Alpine Motors. It is a gorgeous car with really low mileage, the tags were still on some of the accessories that came with it. Mike was a gem to deal with, I feel like I got really lucky to find him and my car. He takes a lot of pride in selling good cars, he was sincere and professional. I would definitely go back to him for another vehicle and recommend him to family and friends in the future (and to google users too :-) Mike is a great find, don't hesitate to do business with Mike. From start to finish, I had nothing but a positive experience dealing with Mike at Alpine Motors. He was responsive, helpful, and worked with me each step of the way to secure financing, communicate what needed to happen, even up to what I needed for the DMV, and finally transport the vehicle from Long Island to Connecticut. Even the guy who dropped the vehicle off had nothing but positive things to say, after overhearing Mike deal with another customer. Given what a positive experience this was (which used car buying often isn't, needless to say...) I would definitely do business with Alpine Motors again. Mike just needs to find me that 1985 Aston Martin Volante convertible, and then I need to sell my condo to buy it. Until then I'm happy keeping both the condo and the beautiful '08 Miata he sold me!

My experience with Alpine Motors and Mike is one I recommend to all those I know wishing to purchase a car. Mike was very courteous and considerate of my expectations in assessing my purchasing needs. Mike was very informative and clear in explaining all the particulars of the transaction. Ok its been a long time coming but better late than never. I purchased a 2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 in May 2013. The buying process was absolutely painless and without a drop of sales pressure. Thats an A+ right off the bat. The tough thing was choosing from all the great low mileage cars available. So now my review. The condition of this beauty with only 48k miles on it was as if it were brand new inside and out (as were most all the cars I looked at that day). I have had absolutely no problems with the car and feel like I am getting into a brand new car each time I unlock the door, still after almost a year of ownership. Alpine has a customer for life! I wouldn't even hesitate to purchase from Alpine again when the time comes it will definitely be the first one I visit... and most likely the only one. Alpine is a place you must check out if you are in the market for a great vehicle. I know you wont be disappointed/ My rating would be 6 stars but Google only lets do 5 so many many thanks. Joe

Alpine Motors is highly recommended!
